Haji Sharif Prize

For students who excel in Miniature Painting with at least 70% aggregate during their studies in the College.

Bhai Ram Singh Award

For students with aggregate of at least 70% over five years in the department of architecture.

Shakir Ali Award

For students with an aggregate of at least 70% over four years in the department of fine art.

Chughtai Award

For students who excel in the design department with at least 70% aggregate during their studies at the College.

Sir Percy Brown Prize

In art history for students with an aggregate of at least 70% in art history during the course of their studies at the College.

Kipling Award

Kipling Award For students with the highest academic record achieved with not less than 80 marks in the final aggregate.

Saadat Hassan Manto Prize

For an outstanding performer recommended by the drama society of the College, and its patron.

Nayyar Ali Dada Award

Is presented to a student of Architecture who has demonstrated excellence in architecture design studios and has achieved the aggregate of 70% and above in all 4 years studio assignments.

Puppet Prize

For an outstanding puppeteer, recommended by the “Puppeteers NCA”, and its patron.

For students who have stood first in the class.

Muhammad Ajmal Kardar Gold Medal

For the final year student with an aggregate of highest marks/cumulative records amongst all departments.

Abdul Rashid Kardar Gold Medal

For highest aggregate marks achieved at the graduate level.

A limited number of scholarships from government funds, private and alumni donations are available through the College, both as need-based grant as well as on merit basis.

Government merit awards are granted in accordance with the result of the first term examination in the case of students of first year foundation course, and on the result of annual evaluations in the case of students from other years. A scholarship fund was established in 1992 through private sector donations for need-cum-merit assistance, administered by the Heads of Departments Committee.

Full and Half tuition fee exemption may be granted by the Principal on compassionate grounds to a limit not exceeding 10% of the regular students on the College rolls. Students whose siblings pay full fee as regular students in any government institution are entitled to half-fee exemption as per government rules. Scholarships are announced at the start of the academic year, and applications are invited from the students for the award of scholarships.

The Government of Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhawah award scholarships to students from their respective areas.

Are awarded to the students from all departments on need cum merit basis.

Nayyar Ali Dada Scholarships

Are awarded to architecture students on need cum merit basis.

Omar Aftab Trust Scholarships

Are awarded to students from all departments on need cum merit basis.

Asim Butt Scholarship

Endowed in memory of Asim Butt (1978-2010), a widely appreciated painter, graffiti artist and muralist. He came to special attention in 2007 for his political graffiti across Pakistan and his contribution to public art through the murals he painted in Karachi. The scholarship is awarded to the students of fine arts department on merit cum need basis.

Zahra and Z.Z. Ahmed Foundation Scholarships

Are awarded to students from all departments on need cum merit basis.

Rehana Majid Nizami Scholarship

A need cum merit based scholarship for undergraduate fine art students funded in her memory by Majid Nizami and Rameeza Majid Nizami Trust and Nawa- e- Waqt Group.

Ch. Faqir Hussain Scholarship

Is awarded to students from all departments on need cum merit basis.

The BF Biosciences Ltd Scholarship

Is awarded to students from all departments for the duration of their degree on need-cum-merit basis.

Shezan International Scholarship

Is awarded to students from all departments on need cum merit basis.

Lux Style Awards (two Scholarships)

For meritorious students in the department of film & TV.

Scholarship holders must continue to have a good academic performance to retain the scholarship during their studies.

College scholarships are awarded by merit every year for a period of one academic session.

College scholarships are awarded by merit in accordance with the result of the first term examination in the case of first year students and on the score of annual evaluation in the case of students from other years.

College scholarships are awarded on the undertaking that the holder shall attend the College as a regular student and pursue her/his studies with industry. If it should appear at any time that a scholarship holder fails to make satisfactory progress or has been irregular in conduct or in attendance she/he shall forfeit the privilege of scholarship.

No student shall be permitted to hold two or more scholarships at the same time. A scholarship holder however is free to compete for awards and prizes.

The scholarship shall lapse if it is not taken up by the last date of disbursement as may be notified by the College.

The ‘need scholarship’ applicants are required to fill up a form to establish financial need of the student.

Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) Scholarships

The Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) is an initiative of the Government of Punjab and is established with the objective of providing scholarships/monetary assistance to talented and needy students. Since its establishment, PEEF has awarded more than 235,000 scholarships worth Rs. 11.90 billion to students of Punjab and other provinces. With the inclusion of current year’s 115,000 scholarships the total number of beneficiaries will exceed 351,000 (approx.) with scholarship disbursements worth more than Rs. 18.20 billion.
