Artist Talk – Kishwar Kiani

As part of the NCA Triennale 2025, sculptor Kishwar Kiani delivered a deeply introspective artist talk titled 'Learning to Fall', at the Shakir Ali Auditorium, NCA. Listening to her reflect on the fragile balance between control and surrender in the creative process was both grounding and thought provoking. Through her exploration of form, surface, and narrative shaped by drawing and material experimentation, she revealed how the act of 'falling' becomes a metaphor for resilience, rediscovery, and transformation in art.

The session opened up quiet yet powerful conversations about process, vulnerability, and the discipline it takes to trust one’s own creative rhythm, offering an experience that lingered long after it ended.
