Metal Crafts of Pakistan

3D Surfacing and Texturing

This workshop demonstrates turning a raw 3D head scan into a production-ready asset: retopology and texture re-projection, skin detailing in ZBrush, and PBR lookdev in Mari (Diffuse/Roughness/Specular). Exports are tested in Unreal Engine 5/Maya. Emphasis: colour breakup, complementary palettes, and telling character through skin—using hue and value to guide viewer attention.

The inclusive workshop introduces stitch as mark-making, explores calico's material history, and treats textiles as a viewfinder for shared, reflective storytelling.
