Day 11 of the NCA Triennale brought together a rich blend of art and music at the Shakir Ali Auditorium with an evening of performances that bridged classical elegance and contemporary rhythm.
Sachal Nabi Shah filled the auditorium with the timeless beauty of Chopin, performing Waltz “L’Adieu” and Prelude “Raindrop”, setting a tone of grace and introspection. The stage then transformed with BNU’s BEADS Society presenting “7 Marhaley”, a powerful performance inspired by the poetry of Bulleh Shah, weaving movement and verse into a soulful expression of spiritual journey. The night concluded with an energetic hip-hop and rap performance by Mujtaba Hassan, bringing modern pulse and youthful expression to the stage.
The performances were attended and deeply appreciated by Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri, Vice Chancellor of NCA, alongside renowned NCA alumni, faculty, and students, who celebrated the diversity and vitality of artistic expression that defines the Triennale’s spirit.
