Performance - Sarangi Night

At the Shakir Ali Auditorium, the evening unfolded in the tender resonance of strings, where words fell silent and music spoke. Sarangi Night, held on November 4th, 2025, as part of the NCA Triennale, brought together four maestros; Zohaib Hassan, Taimur Khan, Gul Mohammad, and Ali Zafar, each weaving their own tapestry of sound and soul.

The Sarangi, that ancient vessel of human emotion, sang of love and longing, of joy and remembrance. Its voice carried through the hall like a whisper from the past; raw, fragile, and profoundly alive. As the night deepened, every note became a story, every pause a prayer, reminding us that in the silence between the strings lies the heartbeat of art itself.

Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri, faculty and administrative staff, along with the residents from across the globe were seen enjoying the evening.
