Performances - Day 23

Day 23 of the NCA Triennale, unfolded with a dynamic and enriching series of events at the Shakir Ali Auditorium. The auditorium transformed into a vibrant space of artistic expression. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri was in attendance, lending his support and appreciation for the diverse creative voices showcased throughout the programme.

The performances began with a musical presentation by Nighat Chaudary, whose mastery and emotive expression captivated the audience. This was followed by a spirited jazz performance by the 4on6 Band, filling the hall with rhythmic energy and improvisational flair.

The evening culminated in a compelling theatrical performance by Ajoka Lahore; a joint production with Alhamra, titled “Where Have All the Women Gone?” The play offered a powerful commentary, sparking dialogue and reflection among attendees.

Bringing together experimental sound, student led theatre, rhythmic folk traditions, soulful vocal ensembles, and contemporary movement arts, the day celebrated the interdisciplinary spirit of the Triennale. It stood as a testament to the institute’s commitment to fostering diversity, innovation, and meaningful creative dialogue.
