Evenings at NCA Triennale are special. Just like that, Day 14 of the Triennale featured mesmerising ghazal and qawwali performances that left the audience enthralled. The performances included soulful renditions by Mohsin Fayyaz, a talented first year student, and the dynamic NCA student group, Mayon-e-Echar, comprising third year students. Mayon-e-Echar’s performance was a cultural celebration of North Pakistan’s rich musical heritage, showcasing the region’s vibrant traditions and timeless melodies.
NCA Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri appreciated the students’ dedication and artistic expression, emphasising the importance of keeping classical and contemporary musical traditions alive.
The performances highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan, blending classical poetry with vibrant musical arrangements, and reflected the creativity and passion nurtured at NCA Lahore.
