As part of the NCA Triennale 2025, artist Mueed Farrukh led an engaging hands on workshop exploring the expressive potential of the toothbrush as a painting tool. Over the course of three days, participants experimented with spattering techniques on transparent acrylic sheets, discovering new ways to transform everyday objects into instruments of art.
Through guided demonstrations and practical exercises, attendees learned how to create stencils, transfer designs, and explore colour, texture, and layering, merging creativity with craftsmanship. The workshop encouraged innovative thinking and celebrated the spirit of making, turning simple materials into striking visual expressions.
An invitation was extended to differently abled students, who were encouraged to participate free of cost, fostering inclusivity and accessibility in the creative process.
