Workshop – Tasneem Inaam 'Fabric Doll Making'

The Fabric Doll Making workshop led by Tasneem F. Inaam revived one of the most nostalgic and intimate traditions of our cultural past. Once a cherished household craft rooted in the creative spirit of village life, traditional doll making has gradually disappeared from everyday practice. This Triennale workshop sought to rekindle that fading art form, inviting participants to rediscover its warmth and reinterpret its meaning in a modern context.

Through the transformation of simple fabrics into expressive handcrafted dolls, participants explored themes of memory, storytelling, and identity. Blending creativity, heritage, and sustainability, the hands on session offered a space where artistry intertwined with personal narrative, reviving tradition through contemporary craftsmanship and the inclusive spirit of the Triennale.
