ATTENTION STUDENTS NCA LHR AND RWP

We are pleased to inform you that NCA has been awarded Eighty (80) National Endowment Scholarship for Talent slots under the “Arts & Culture Scholarship Program” of Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training Government of Pakistan for FY2020. The NEST scholarship scholarships are Need Based Scholarships focusing on talent and they will be awarded to the most deserving and talented students. The soft copy of the application form is attached.

Students enrolled in undergraduate 4 or 5 years degree program are eligible to apply. The last date to submit the duly filled and signed application form is 12 February 2020. The duly filled application form along with copies of required documents will be received at the College reception. Incomplete applications with missing documents will not be entertained.

Please read the following instructions for the award of scholarship carefully. In case of any confusion, you may contact Ms. Bushra Saeed Khan Focal Person Scholarship Programs-NCA in the office of the Registrar during office hours.

Eligibility Criteria of the Scholarship Program
1- The applicant must be a Pakistani National
2- Students must be enrolled in Undergraduate ( 4Years or 5Years) program
3- The eligibility of a candidate is linked to neediness of the candidate as determined by the financial background of his/her family.
4- Not availing any other educational scholarship during the current academic year For validation purpose the applicant will provide the following documents:

1. Attested Copies of
• 1.1 Academic documents
• 1.2 Applicant’s CNIC Copy/ B Form
• 1.3 Father’s / Guardian’s CNIC
• 1.4 Domicile (If not available then attach Father’s Domicile and slip of applied for the domicile)
2. Photographs (Two passport size)
3. Undertaking for Income Declaration (To be given on Rs.20-50 non-judicial stamp paper) (Annex-B)
4. Salary Slip / Income Certificate of Self/Father/Guardian
5. Application Form duly filled and signed by applicant
6. Proof of Hostel residency
7. Share details of any scholarship availed from College

The applicant must submit the aforementioned documents at the College reception by Wednesday 12 February 2020 Students will be informed to open dedicated bank account to receive the stipend.
The duration of the scholarships will be according to the Degree / course and year in which students are currently enrolled at the time of award of scholarship and stipend will be paid till the conduct of final examinations; provided the scholar maintains scholarship compliance policy of NEST which is:
a. 75% Attendance
b. 60% Academic Performance

In case of failure of student in obtaining at least 60% marks or maintaining 75% attendance, the installment will be withheld until the student improves his/her grades and attendance. In case of continuous failure and less than 75% attendance, the installment will be discontinued
