There’s something magical about the start of a new chapter and at NCA, we believe in celebrating it in full colour. This year’s Welcome Festival was a three day celebration of art, community, and fresh beginnings — and what a celebration it was!
From the soulful sounds of Eastern and Western Music Societies to the laughter stirred by Notanki and Skits, from the quiet power of Mime and N.T. Mime to the poetic charm of Alif Adab, every performance was a reminder of what makes NCA special. The Puppeteers, Dance Society, and The Qi brought their energy to the stage and to the hearts of everyone watching.
We were thrilled to have some familiar faces from television join us, including the talented Noor Ul Hassan, whose presence added an extra spark to the festivities. And throughout all three days, our Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri, was right there with the students; laughing, clapping, taking pictures, and soaking in the spirit of the NCA family.
A big, heartfelt thank you to faculty members Imran Qureshi and Shehnaz Sheikh for pouring their hearts into making this event feel as seamless as it did special.
