Rana Sikandar Hayat, the esteemed Education Minister of Punjab, visited the ongoing Degree Show 2024 at the National College of Arts. He was warmly received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri, who accompanied him throughout the visit.
During the tour, the minister admired creativity and dedication of the graduating students, whose work showcased innovation, artistic excellence, and a deep understanding of contemporary issues. We have received reports of scam callers targeting NCA students, pretending to be representatives from the Higher Education Commission (HEC). These callers send a code to your phone, claiming it is for verification, but their actual intent is to hack your WhatsApp account. Unfortunately, a few students have already fallen victim to this scam.
What you should do:
1- Do not share any codes sent to your phone, even if the caller claims to be from HEC or any other official organization.
2-Be cautious of unsolicited calls or messages.
3-Enable two-step verification on WhatsApp for added security.
