• The orientation session for Foundation Year First Semester 2026 was successfully held at the National College of Arts, Lahore, marking the beginning of the academic journey for newly admitted students. The day commenced with students’ arrival, registration, and biometric verification, followed by a formal session in the Auditorium where introductory videos highlighting NCA and the Foundation Year programme were screened.
  
  Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri, addressed the students, introducing the academic leadership and sharing insights into NCA’s vision, values, and creative legacy. Students were also briefed on academic policies, assessment structures, and institutional procedures essential for their time at NCA.
  
  The session included an introduction to the Foundation Year faculty, followed by a musical performance by the Department of Music, Faculty of Performing Arts, reflecting the vibrant cultural ethos of the institution. The orientation concluded with students being divided into sections and taken on a guided tour of the campus, familiarising them with campus’s historic spaces and facilities.
