As evening descended upon the National College of Arts, the Shakir Ali Auditorium transformed into a space of rhythm, reverence, and resonance during Qawwali Night. The powerful voices of Nadeem Jameel Khan and Group carried centuries of Sufi tradition, drawing the audience into an immersive musical dialogue that unfolded note by note.
The gathering was honoured by the presence of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri, whose attendance underscored NCA’s enduring relationship with cultural expression beyond the classroom. Students, faculty, and guests found themselves united in an atmosphere where music became both reflection and celebration.
Beyond applause and melodies, the night reaffirmed NCA’s role as a space where art breathes freely, where performance becomes experience, and tradition finds renewed meaning within contemporary creative spaces.
