We welcomed the vibrant season with its much anticipated Spring Carnival at the National College of Arts, a lively event that showcased the creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of our students. The college courtyard transformed into a bustling marketplace featuring an array of food, jewellery, and lifestyle stalls, where students presented their handcrafted products and culinary delights. The event provided a unique platform for young artists and designers to engage with visitors and display their talent beyond the studios.
The festivities continued in the auditorium, where students captivated the audience with dynamic performances, celebrating the cultural richness and artistic legacy of NCA. Esteemed guests, including Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri; former principal NCA, Mrs. Salima Hashmi; filmmaker Mr. Ahsan Rahim; and celebrated NCA alumni such as actor and model Imran Abbas and Asfar Hussain, lead vocalist of Bayan Band, graced the occasion. They not only appreciated the students’ efforts but also distributed certificates among participants, encouraging them to pursue their artistic aspirations. The Spring Carnival was a true reflection of NCA’s vibrant spirit, blending tradition with innovation in an atmosphere of joy and creativity.
