As part of its Community outreach Programme, the Annual NCA Summer Camp 2026 commenced on 11th June, 2026, continuing a remarkable initiative by Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri, since 2014. From its inception, the Summer Camp has been successfully conducted every year across all NCA campuses, including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, and Gilgit-Baltistan. Over the years, it has attracted a large number of art enthusiasts from all walks of life, providing them with a unique opportunity to experience and learn art under the guidance of NCA’s dedicated and experienced faculty.
The Summer Camp welcomes participants from diverse professional and social backgrounds, including doctors, engineers, bankers, lawyers, businesspersons, homemakers, students, and children. One of the most distinctive features of this programme is that it is open to individuals of all ages, reflecting NCA’s commitment to making art education accessible to everyone.
Participants have consistently expressed their appreciation to NCA for opening its doors to the wider community and providing an inspiring environment for artistic learning and creative exploration.
Addressing the participants at the inauguration ceremony, Prof. Dr. Murtaza Jafri warmly welcomed them to the National College of Arts and highlighted the institution’s 150 years legacy of excellence in art, design, architecture, culture, and creative education. He encouraged the attendees to make the most of this enriching experience and immerse themselves in NCA’s vibrant artistic and cultural environment.
