A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between NCA and Punjab Skills Development Fund (PSDF). Aimed at empowering the transgender community in Punjab; the primary objective of this partnership is to provide skill development opportunities to enable members of the transgender community more capable, self reliant, and valuable contributors to the society. During the signing ceremony; Vice Chancellor NCA, Prof Dr Murtaza Jafri and CEO PSDF, Mr Ahmed Haleem Khan, emphasised on the importance of inclusivity to uplift a marginalised segment of society by equipping them with practical skills, thereby enhancing their employability and fostering social acceptance. Through targeted training programmes and workshops, the initiative aspires to help the transgender community overcome societal barriers and achieve economic growth in the Punjab.
